Changing Website Design Company

This can always be a difficult process. In rare circumstances, website design companies entice you into a contract binding you into a 1 or 2 year contract paying monthly fees. Or sometimes, the website design company owns your website and you are just renting it from the web company.

Your domain name is the most important asset to your website and you must always make sure that the you, the owner of the domain is on the registry as the registered owner. In some cases the website designer puts his own name and as you can imagine this could be another difficult situation.

All this can be a little daunting especially when you are paying out £1000's every year for a website that isn't getting you any business. When trying to explain the situation that you would like to move change can be difficult for other less professional web company to digest and choose to hold your website server details or domain name details. In normal circumstances they have no right unless the small print in your contract says otherwise.

Peace of Mind

To ease your mind with QUAD, we do not have 1 or 2 year binding contracts unless you express your desire for one. We do have a contract, but nothing that holds you to staying with QUAD. If for some reason you decided to move away from QUAD we would total up the costs to the termination date you have requested and ask you to pay the balance all of which would be clearly detailed in the contract between you and QUAD, no small print. Further more, your registration details of your domain is clearly stated that you are the domain owner. This is sent to you if you have not already got them all of which is done on signing of the contract between you and QUAD.
